Game notes on Vogelsong-Vogelsong was hamered again tonight..He still throws 92 mph.He sits 90-91 mph.The one consistent in Vogelsongs starts the last couple of seasons.His 2 seam fastball gets destroyed.It doesn't matter who's hitting or who we're playing.That pitch gets hammered all the time.When he throws his 4 seam fastball the difference between his fastball and off speed stuff is around 15 mph.That should keep hitters off balance.They need to throw that 2 seamer out the window.His 4 seamer is way more effective.
Comments on Giants management-If i'm going to critique players.I'm going to crtique Managers and GM's.Once again the Giants fielded a line up with two players who should be starting on the bench.It started at the beginning of the season with Susac in AAA.Now we have a guy hitting .169 starting over Duffy.These kind of moves cost teams games.
